Donations

The flood of June 2013 had done devastating damage also in kindergartens and institutions for young people in Halle an der Saale. That's why the participants of the run have decided to donate the collected money to particularly afflicted educational institutes.

On 17th of December, the two Polish Lions Friends Dr. Mariusz Szeib and Daniel Wcisło together with Ludwig Schlereth presented checks at € 2,500 a throw to four of these institutions - the kindergartens „Vier Jahreszeiten“, „Villa der fröhlichen Kinder“ and „Kinder(t)räume“ and as an institiution for adolecents the „Berufsvorbereitende Bildungswerk Dr. P. Rahn & Partner“
